Halifax Water

Halifax Water is the municipal water, wastewater and stormwater utility serving the residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) in Nova Scotia. They are authorized to own and operate water supply and wastewater facilities for the benefit of the residents of HRM.

Halifax Water teamed up with BITS to design and develop an intranet site to be used by their 400+ employees. The site has become a go to resource for staff to check what work is being done in areas of the HRM, search the online staff directory, share photos, post classified ads, search available job opportunities within the organization, as well as act as a general information repository.
